๐Ÿ”—Evolut network

The EVOLUT network was created based on the documented capability of the Ethereum network โ€œEthereum Private networkโ€. Unlike the Ethereum network, EVOLUT has its own block rate settings and network number.

The EVOLUT network uses the PoA consensus algorithm and the PoW smart contract.

The PoA algorithm is used to sign blocks, and the PoW smart contract rewards users for mining ERC-20 tokens.

The EVOLUT network could be a cheaper alternative to Ethereum. The first transaction on the EVOLUT network took place in July 2022.

Network composition:

  1. SIGNERS โ€” nodes signing blocks for PoA

  2. BOOTNODE โ€” start nodes

  3. PUBLIC-NODE โ€” public nodes

  4. NODE โ€” ordinary nodes

  5. MINING-NODE โ€” specialized node for ERC-20 mining

Block formation speed

1 block in 14 sec

Compatible software for EVOLUT nodes is Ethereum Geth and Hyperladger Besu.

At the level of libraries for programming, EVOLUT has full compatibility with libraries using the Ethereum JSON RPC standard: Web3.py, Web3.js, Go Ethereum and others.

All known token standards can be deployed on the EVOLUT network: ERC-20, ERC-721(NFT), ERC-1155 and others, except for contracts using Provable (formerly Oraclize) oracles.
